Hunt Participants: Danny, the occasional narrator and sword-and-shield wielder, as Jibbles.
Sharieff, a black man trapped in a white female hunter’s body, as Ella.
Kang the tailcutter, played by Derek, the tail chaser.
Hunt Terminology: “Farcaster” – an item used to return home from anywhere in the hunt. A bit like the red shoes in The Wizard of Oz, but without the faint odor of little people oppression.
“Welfare Box” – At the base camp of every hunt, a box of trinkets is provided by the people who have requested you to slay beasts. Essential elements for hunting 50-foot monstrosities are provided, such as maps and . . . paint balls. Welfare, indeed.
Hunt Results: We hunted three times, not counting the two disconnects that were edited out. First, a Great Baggi, a somewhat crap Ice Wyvern, then the Rathalos – see every European Medieval dragon ever drawn – and finally, the Deviljho, malicious devourer and recipient of the titular “Jho Day” honor.
Podcast Quotables: 58:35 - “It is damnable of honey to assume that it is such an important condiment that it needs its own dispenser.” -Danny
1:05:58 - “I thought you was (sic) going to tell me some elaborate ammunition, like you shoot an egg out, and the egg turns into Lonnie Anderson or something!” -Sharieff
