"Some sarcasm eases into a rare bit of fantastical trickery here. I like the idea of dripping black ink into snakes, both sharing a similar long slitheriness. For me, it also conjures up classic evil imagery, combining the contract and serpent angles into an almost Biblical crossroads. That said, the MNC is now past that intersection and venturing into blacker territory, at least from a thematic perspective. It should not impact our format much, though. The most you’ll notice may be a stronger focus on certain kinds of comics, but our goal is still to produce content worthy of your time."
