So tonight is the big night when all good boys and girls finally get their visit from Santa Claus. But how do you know where you land on the list?! No worries! Just figure out your Yearly Behavioral Score (YBS)!
What’s a YBS, you ask? The YBS is the average sum of all of your Weekly Behavioral Scores (WBS). You earn points every week determined by your "naughty" and "nice" actions throughout the week. Scoring can vary from one to ten points for nice actions and one to a hundred for naughty actions. Why the large variance? Simply put, being naughty as a child usually means screaming and fit-pitching, which would normally only deduct one to two points per infraction. However, say you’re an adult and you act naughty; for instance, cheating on your significant other or drunk driving. The penalties need to reflect the level of naughty. If your YBS is over a certain level, you will receive presents on Christmas day, if not, expect coal. If you every need to know where you stand on your YBS, you can always go to Wee-Bee Games and ask Irving.
Last week, I asked the fan base for the answer to the following question: Who is the animator I was making fun of in the Best Comic Ever comic? The first three people to respond would be rewarded with a free Virtual Console game of their choice. I only received two responses, both of which were correct. The answer was Richard Lico, the Animation Lead for Condemned: Bloodshot by Monolith Studios. Richard, or Rick for short, is an old friend of mine and I like to take pot shots at him when I can. If you can find the time, you should go check out his work; the boy’s got talent.
The winners of the free virtual console games are:
David Palay, who was a fellow Omeganaut and a member of the reprehensible Dangling Participles was the first to answer. You can check him out on the guitar here. Also, be sure to visit his podcast when you get the time.
Chris Cooper was the second person to write in with the correct answer. Unfortunately, I don’t know that much about Mr. Cooper, outside of the fact that he is a fan of the site and now has a "+1" to his Virtual Console channels.
Well, that’s it for me this week. Enjoy your off time and stay safe.

It has been some time since I last updated on my end. The new, improved Monday Night Crew website is developing swimmingly and would probably chug along even faster if I’d dedicate more time to it. Worry not! Much like destiny, a better site is an inevitability that will blanket you in its warmth sometime early 2008. Some additional features include an entire front- and back-end redesign, forums, in-site tabbed browsing, better profiles and overall smoother navigation between the pages. More content will be a must too; oftentimes, we here at the MNC have had to shelve ideas because of a lack of focus on the current site. That change is coming.
I don’t want to promise dates, and run the risk of failing to deliver. The Rare/3D Realms/Blizzard line of "when it’s done" applies here too. A lot of the big work is done, but more still needs to be accomplished. I hope everyone likes it.
Also, I am so happy to no longer be working retail at this time of year. After four years, it still feel good!
